Our Story
Néssi brings the everyday flavors of Italy and the Mediterranean to American kitchens. Bronze-cut pasta from Puglia, Castelvetrano olives, balsamic vinegar from Modena, Greek honey, crunchy taralli and soft amaretti: the foods families across the Mediterranean actually cook with, not just once a year.
Where Néssi comes from
Néssi is the house brand of Néssi Foods, an importer of European gourmet foods based in Irwindale, in Los Angeles County, California. For years our team has sourced products for specialty grocery stores and delis across the country. Néssi Gourmet is where we share our own brand directly with home cooks.
What we look for
- A clear origin. Each product page tells you where the product is made: pasta and cookies from Italy, olives from Italy and Greece, honey and jams from Greece, sea salt from Sicily.
- Simple ingredients. We favor short ingredient lists and traditional methods, like bronze-die pasta and olives cured in brine.
- Organic options. Our organic pasta, oils, spreads and bread crumbs are labeled organic on the package and on the product page.
- Everyday value. Gourmet should not mean once a year. Néssi is made for weeknight dinners, lunch boxes and Sunday sauce.
