Greek Honey & Fruit Jams
Greece has a long beekeeping tradition and a landscape full of wild herbs and flowers. Néssi honey and jams are made in Greece.
Greek acacia honey
Greek acacia honey is light in color with a mild, delicate sweetness. Because it does not overpower other flavors, it is ideal for tea, yogurt and cheese boards.
Greek multiflower honey
Greek multiflower honey comes from the nectar of many different flowers. It has a fuller, more floral flavor that is great on toast, in baking and in salad dressings.
Ways to use honey
- Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts: the classic Greek breakfast
- Drizzled over feta or goat cheese, then baked
- Whisked into a vinaigrette with vinegar and olive oil
- Stirred into tea with lemon
Good to know: natural honey can crystallize over time. Place the jar in warm water to make it liquid again. Do not give honey to infants under 1 year old.
Greek fruit jams
Four fruit flavors for breakfast, baking and cheese boards:
- Cherry jam: great with dark chocolate or on pancakes
- Apricot jam: lovely with brie and in thumbprint cookies
- Strawberry jam: the breakfast favorite
- Peach jam: try it as a glaze for grilled chicken
